The working principle of CNC engraving machine

The computer numerical control engraving machine is actually a three-dimensional numerical control system, and its working principle is shown in the figure:

A specialized design and typesetting software is installed in a general-purpose microcomputer for graphic and text design and typesetting, automatically generating machining path information. The tool path data is transmitted to the microcontroller through a USB interface or other data transmission interface. The CNC system receives the tool path data, completes a series of functions such as display and user interaction, and uses specific algorithms to convert the input path information into CNC information. The controller converts this information into signals (pulse trains) that drive stepper motors or servo motors, and controls the X, Y, and Z axes of the engraving machine. Simultaneously milling can carve various flat or three-dimensional graphics and text designed on the computer, achieving automation in carving.
